Pastor John was born in Sri-lanka in 1949 to a Hindu family. His father was a Hindu priest. Pastor John came to know of the bible in 1969 and he accepted Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior in 1972. He joined with the World Literature Crusade as a field Evangelist until 1980. During this time he was living as a nominal Christian and in 1980 he resigned from his position and became an independent Christian Minister with the Full Gospel Christian Fellowship and the Lord led him to preach the gospel to thousands of people in Sri-Lanka and he was able to bring many non-Christian to the Lord and planted many churches. God mightily used him and he has been preached in many countries such as Europe, United States of America, Malaysia, Singapore etc. Unfortunately in 1983 because of the ethnic riots he lost all his belongings and went through a very hard time with many persecutions. After much prayers, Pastor John came to U.S and migrated to Canada as a refuge. God is mightily using him in the ministry of new vision living word ministries with miracles and wonders.
